Cell Phone Cozy

I finally finished my 2nd knitting project….that is cell phone cozy…If you guys want to make one...

my 2nd project

Just follow these instructions…

1. Cast on 6 stitches

2.Knit 3 rows of garter stitch.

3. Row 4: Knit 3 stitches, yarn over, and knit the remaining 3 stitches. You now have 7 stitches. (The yarn over creates the buttonhole.)

4. Rows 5 through 7: Knit in garter stitch.

5. Row 8: Knit 1, increase 1 by knitting through the front and back of the next stitch, knit until 1 stitch remains, and increase 1. You now have 9 stitches.

6. Rows 9 through 12: Knit in garter stitch.

7. Row 13: Knit 2, yarn over. Knit until 1 stitch remains, increase 1. You now have 11 stitches. (This yarn over creates an opening for your antenna.)

8. Rows 14 through 80: Knit in garter stitch.

9. Bind off, leaving a 24-inch tail.

10. Fold your strip of knitting almost in half so that the antenna hole is located at the top of the cozy and a 2-inch flap with the buttonhole overlaps the rest. Using your yarn needle, sew up the sides of the cozy using the overcast stitch. (You can use your bind-off tail to do this.) Weave in and trim the loose ends.

11. Sew a button on the front of the cozy, directly behind where the buttonhole falls, using your sewing needle and regular thread.

Improvisation idea: Make your cozy into an over-the-shoulder carrying case. Braid a 27-inch cord of yarn and attach it to the top of the opening flap, knotting the ends to keep the cord secure and the braid from unraveling.

Knitting

I finally finish knit a cell phone case for my aunty...actually this is my 1 st attempt to do...hahahhaa....luckily it turns to be not that bad....(you see..i have a talent)..i've learnt to knit just from the internet...internet helps a lot....but i still learning...so if anyone has a knowledge about knitting to share with me...im sooooo happy and appreciate it...i really love knitting....my late momme knew every pattern of knitting...hermmmmm

this is the cell phone case i made...not that perfect..but i think its perfect for beginner like me.....

so...my next planning is to buy all knitting needles and knitting books...so that i can knit a lot of things in the future...but the biggest problemo is...it is very difficult to find knitting needle in my area...hook needles for hand knitting? (very easy to find them here)...but for other needles...its require a lot of travelling...hihihihihihi....

searching in ebay? of course there a lot of choice...but it from outside of this country...im thinking a bout to order one from taiwan or china...but the shipping fee is higher than the needles price...so.. its not worth it....anyone have the idea where i can get the needle? used needle also can since im learning and a beginner.....

Knitting

Ari Ni try buat some knitting…testing whether jadik ker tak….dah lama sangat aku x buat suma tuh…kalo jahit2 menjahit tu jln ler gak...but knit!!!!!!!Im not sure….so…pagi ker petang aku dok try buat…akhirnya jadik gak…but...jadik apa?tah lerr…separuh jadik cam ermmmmmmm….im just don’t know to describe it…lg satu jadik bulat….i can say that aku divide yarn tu jadik 2 part...head and tail…haaaaaaaaaaa….the color? IJO…cemane aku leh pick ijo pon aku tatau...Ber pinau mata aku dok buat suma tuh….
